Outsourcing FM services on a large scale while reducing costs
In 2017, Novo Banco needed to optimize its Facility Management (FM) operations. The bank’s main goals were the performance of a due diligence regarding the buildings and branches portfolio, the reduction of OPEX, the optimization of the internal resources dedicated to the management of its portfolio and its Hard and Soft services.
PROCOS Group assisted Novo Banco in the analysis of the existing status (AS IS). Based on these findings, PROCOS Group developed a facilities management strategy, a new FM information system, evaluation of the supplier contracts and solid SLAs and KPIs with clear specifications concerning tactical and strategic reporting.
With the support of PROCOS Group, Novo Banco reached its goal in outsourcing its Facility Management by the end of 2018. The new Facility Manager will support Novo Banco in the management of its premises, in the control and evaluation of its suppliers, and also in the executive reporting and benchmark according to the most recent standards and best practices.
In addition to the elaboration of the specifications, technical and financial annexes and templates, PROCOS Group produced an evaluation matrix and supported Novo Banco in the technical evaluation of the proposals delivered by the competitors, using specific evaluation criteria, calculations and templates.
