We're glad we relaunched a tradition, the Archibus (by Eptura) Lowlands event! On Wednesday 19th of April we welcomed more then 30 customers and interested parties at KMSKA in Antwerp.
Our main objectives were: to share knowledge, to network and above all to have fun!
We're pretty convinced we succeed with this set up.
The welcome word was done by none other than Carmen Willems, General Manager at KMSKA. We already got a good overview about the museum and its ambition.
Next up was our Managing Partner, Wim Van Hove and Veronique Barascud-Lacour from Archibus to welcome us and shine a light on the exciting roadmap.
Sharing use cases to explain how Archibus can create an added value in your daily FM was one of the highlights of the day.
Nest Neukermans from Sport Vlaanderen explained how BIM and FMIS can integrate and create efficiency in maintenance planning on short and long term.
Our colleague, Jeroen Weltens explained the KPN use case with the help of a "vlog" done by Martin-Jan Van Leeuwen (KPN). This is unique as Archibus is supporting the technical critical equipement at KPN, this has a direct impact on the core process.
Just before lunch, our colleague, Tom Ryckaert, did an interactive brainstorm session about "Smart Buildings", following the result in the survey, the service domain which will have the biggest impact in this domain will be technical maintenance.
In the afternoon, Lara Paemen, board member KMSKA and Managing Director IFMA EMEA, enlighted us with the renovation project of KMSKA, this took place from 2011 untill 2022. We learned some facility facts which we could see in practice through the "facility tour".
To end the afternoon we did a guided art tour to experience the museum and all the different artwork from national and international artists. We even did the "stairway to heaven".
We're already looking forward to Archibus Lowlands 2024!
